Screen Printing or printing on screen’s?……

image

Using an alluminium framed Nylon Mesh screen and photographic Light sensitive emulsion…..harder than it would seem…

In a darkened/light subdued room I had to pour the emulsion, into what may only be described as a cross section alluminium guttering.

Placing the vessel at an angle the trick it would seem is to tilt it and let it present to the mesh…..tilt it towards the emsh press lift and drag up to the top completing with a wiggle to prevent the emulsion causing a run…

exposed  screen’s …..I did three ….should then be carried in bin bags to the light exposure unit….onto which you place your Linished (IF a sharp edge is remaining it WILL tear tge vacuum cover)A5 pieces of glass.

MUCH HARDER THAN MY TUTOR demonstrates……. ;)as she does it effortlessly……

Anyway thanks be to Miss Olivia I now have an exposed and clraned ready to print screen!!
